MU Authorities: Accidental gunshot broke no law

The guy who unintentionally shot himself on the MU school Tuesday will not be accused of any criminal activity, MU Police Department Maj. Brian Weimer said.

Supplier Michael Stout was going to campus to show a healthy smoothie machine. While at the Plaza 900 packing dock, he decided to show his weapon to a good friend and accidentally shot himself in the left leg while in his vehicle.

Weimer stated Stout broke no laws by having a weapon on school because it was in a car.
